Long known as one of Long Island's finest catering venues, the new Crest Hollow Country Club is an event venue like no other: a blend of classic elegance and contemporary Art Deco design; it's perfect for a wedding reception, social or corporate event that's as inventive as it is impeccable.
For more than 40 years, the Crest Hollow Country Club has set the standard for fine catering on Long Island. Family owned and operated, the Woodbury venue was founded by the late Tita and Joseph Monti, who shared a passion for the hospitality business—and for giving back to the community.
The Crest Hollow is now led by their son, Richard Monti, whose catering career began at age nine "working the line" alongside his father, uncles and extended family in the kitchen of the Monti's Town and Country in Hempstead.
Now, more than four decades later, Richard continues his family's tradition of delivering fine cuisine and superior service as President of Crest Hollow Country Club at Woodbury and Crest Hollow Corporate Services. He remains committed to the industry's highest hospitality standards and expects the same level of commitment, service and compassion from each of his employees.
Under Richard's direction and vision, the Crest Hollow underwent a $4 million transformation in 2010. Completely redone with a stunning South Beach-inspired pool deck, gleaming marble interiors and spectacular gardens, it's now the perfect venue for social and corporate events alike.
Richard also continues his family's longstanding heritage of giving back to Long Island's needy and non-profit organizations. While Richard actively supports a number of local charities, his primary philanthropic efforts focus on his role as Chairman of the Don Monti Memorial Research Foundation, which is dedicated to funding cancer research in memory of his brother.
